Technical Facilities Program Manager

The Technical Facilities Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of technical infrastructure within a facility. This role ensures that all mechanical, electrical, and operational systems function optimally, aligning with business objectives and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise, project management skills, and a strategic approach to facility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Management & Strategy

  • Develop and implement facility programs to ensure efficient operations, safety, and compliance.
  • Oversee technical infrastructure projects, including HVAC, electrical systems, data centers, and critical facilities.
  • Optimize facility workflows to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance operational effectiveness.

Technical Operations & Maintenance

  • Ensure the maintenance and reliability of critical systems such as power distribution, climate control, and security.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in facility operations.
  • Develop emergency response plans for power outages, equipment failures, and environmental hazards.

Project & Budget Management

  • Manage capital and operational budgets for facility programs and upgrades.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to execute projects on time and within budget.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure all facilities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA and environmental guidelines.
  • Develop and enforce safety protocols, emergency procedures, and regulatory documentation.
  • Conduct facility audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work cross-functionally with IT, security, engineering, and operations teams to align facility programs with business goals.
  • Lead a team of technicians and engineers, providing mentorship and performance management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for executive leadership regarding facility-related initiatives and concerns.
