Data Protection Cyber Security Engineering Specialist
Description:
Required Skills/Experience:
Extensive experience building, implementing, and governing DLP policies and rule sets to mitigate the threat of the unwanted loss of data.
Experience with various DLP policy engines a plus.
Working knowledge of data privacy laws like GLBA, CCPA, GDPR, and how to design security controls to reduce risk and demonstrate compliance.
3 or more years of progressive hands-on technical experience with some of the following technologies / tools: M365 security and governance, AWS security and governance, CASB / API connection based control design for sanctioned cloud SaaS governance.
Experience with Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) technologies a plus.
Experience working with various types of data protection controls (data masking, tokenization, encryption, anonymization)
Proven ability to track, manage, and drive to closure self-identified and audit issues.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with project teams, multiple internal departments and vendors to achieve project objectives.
Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:
BA/BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field required
Relevant Information Security or technical qualifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.) preferred
Microsoft / Azure / AWS certifications a plus
